WHY WE USE YOUR DATABelow you can find a list of all the purposes for which we collect your personal data.
Purpose: we provide you with an assistance service (via chat, telephone, e-mail, online form, social media) for any request relating to the purchase of our products or the use of our services. Telephone calls to customer care are recorded: in this way we can evaluate improving the quality and efficiency of the service offered to our customers.
Data processed: data necessary to respond to the requests you make to our Customer Care (in particular, for the chat assistance service, we will ask you to provide your name and e-mail address; telephone calls are subject to recording will be limited to a percentage of less than 30% of the total calls received on a daily basis).
Legal bases:- Execution of the product purchase contract or pre-contractual measures adopted following your request;
- Regarding the chat support service, legitimate interest in preventing the so-called “chat spam”
- Regarding the recording of telephone calls, legitimate interest in improving the quality and effectiveness of the service offered
Retention period: time strictly necessary to satisfy your request; the recordings of telephone calls will be kept for a period not exceeding 93 days.
Purpose: profiling allows us to send you personalized commercial communications based on your profile and your purchasing and browsing habits as well as to develop products and services consistent with the preferences of our customers.
Data processed: data relating to your purchases, your country of origin, your gender and age, your interaction with us through our website, through the Apps - which may be developed by us or by third parties - and through our social channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram etc.). We may also examine data relating to the use of the services we provide. Finally, we may enrich your profile with statistical information that we may acquire lawfully from other sources: for example, in relation to your area of residence (such as demographic information, georeferencing data, etc.) or electronic tools that you use to interact with us.
Legal basis: your consent which you can revoke at any time by writing to privacy@de-carlis.com or by accessing your reserved area.
Retention period: data relating to your interactions with us will be retained for 12 months from the date of collection; the information relating to your purchases will, however, be kept for 3 years starting from the date of each purchase.
Purpose: purchase of de Carlo's items that you can send as gifts to the recipients indicated by you.
Data processed: the personal and contact data of the buyer of the gift, the personal and contact data of the recipient of the gift (communicated to us by the buyer or the beneficiary).
Legal bases:
- execution of the product sales contract;
- legitimate interest in ensuring delivery of the gift to the recipient.
Retention period: the data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill contractual obligations and obligations imposed by law (e.g. in tax matters).
Purpose: issuing an invoice relating to a purchase made at a "de Carli's" point of sale.
Data processed: name, surname, contact details, billing address, tax code, VAT number, residence address, recipient code (SDI code).
Legal bases:
- fulfillment of regulatory obligations in tax matters;
- fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Retention period: time necessary to fulfill contractual and regulatory obligations regarding the sale of products (e.g. tax regulations).
